PHD Massage is a new name for HorseTouch Massage. So with new names comes new beginnings! We have expanded our services and thought the name of the business needed to reflect that as well. PHD Massage encompasses MOST of our services - People, Horse, & Dog massage. We are located in Juda, Wisconsin, south central part of the state, near the WI/IL stateline.
Bonnie Dittmer, the owner of both HorseTouch and PHD Massage, started off in the massage business as a certified horse massage therapist in 2007. She received her certification and training through Therasage EMC out of Milton Wisconsin. She found that benefits were outstanding for the horses and wanted to move into the canine field as well. She was certified through Pet Massage Ltd in Ohio in 2008. She was making such a difference in people's horses and dogs, they started asking if she would consider massaging people.
Bonnie did a lot of research, cost figuring , and plenty of soul searching before making the committment in October 2010. She enrolled in classes at Blue Sky Professional School of Massage Therapy in Madison, Wisconsin. It was a huge time committment, since Bonnie continued to work full-time at her day job at the local college. Plus, she still had a horse farm and home that still needed her attention. It was a long, focused year, but Bonnie graduated, was nationally certified, and Wisconsin state licensed as a massage therapist for people in October 2011!

There will also be a page that has NOTHING to do with massage! Bonnie also does customized document designing and printing. Most items that she designs and prints are business cards, raffle tickets, and card sets (graduation, wedding). Customized Document Processing Services (CDPS) was Bonnie's first "side job"!
So who is Bonnie, besides Massage Therapist or document designer/printer?
Bonnie is married to a wonderful guy, Bob, and has two fantastic adult children, Justin and Audrey. On their horse farm, Two Dog Farm, they have five horses: Dude's Blackjack - a Tenneessee Walking Horse gelding; Simply Reno - a paint mare with a splash of Arabian; Thee Royal Montage - a gorgeous National Top Ten Arabian bay gelding; Markie's Mach I - an awesome driving miniature horse gelding; & Jokers Wild - the other red head horse on the farm that strives to live up to his name. Oh, he is a miniature horse that thinks he is a big horse. The farm is ruled by the two dogs of the residence - Vegas & Elsey. Vegas is the bossy princess Pembroke Corgi. She thinks that anybody that comes to the farm are here to see her! Her counter part, Elsey, is pint-size poodle/cocker/shih tzu that loves to be next to anybody.
